Alberta Environmental Handling Fee

Dear client,

Please be aware that all sales of designated electronic products in or into Alberta are subject to an Environmental Handling Fee. BlueStar Canada, as a distributor, is obligated under Alberta Recycling regulations to collect and remit this fee to the Alberta Recycling Management Authority (ARMA)

Sales of electronic products to a registered remitter can be exempt from charging the EHF with the condition that the reseller provides BlueStar Canada with its exemption number. Please note that while the EHF is only remitted once on the sale of a product, the reseller may recover the cost of the fee by charging it to their end user.

The values for the Environmental Handling Fee on approved electronic products in Alebrta are available in the Web Site listed below.

BlueStar Canada would like to thank you for your cooperation and for your help in contributing to the protection of the environment.

Please provide BlueStar Canada with your ARMA exemption number/certificate if applicable by downloading and filling the following exemption form.
