Summary:
We are seeking candidates for a Business Development Manager Position. The candidate must have a proven track record in sales or product management.

The position is located in Montreal.

Responsibilities of Business Development Manager:
• Manage new business development and marketing programs both internally and externally with our partners, Value Added Resellers and staff members for Point-of-Sale Products.
• Recruitment of new Value Added Resellers to resell Point of Sale Products.
• Travel throughout Canada and potentially the United Sates representing BlueStar at trade shows and Value Added Reseller locations.
• Provide support and communication regarding all internal and external issues.
• Provides efficient and effective pre-sale and post-sale support to the sales team and Value Added Resellers on a daily basis.
• Management of budgets with a focus on bottom line accountability, MDF and co-op marketing funds.

Requirements:
• Candidate must be fluently bilingual (French, English), both spoken and written.
• Must have between 2 and 5 years of sales or product management experience
• Must be an excellent presenter, both face to face and over the phone.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (Asset)
• Writing skills must be precise, sharp and defined.
• Candidate must show initiative, autonomy, strong organizational and planning skills
• Candidate must have completed collegiate level education.
• Knowledge of Point of sale and Digital signage (Asset).
• Complete understanding of electronic product distribution models (Asset).
• Experience specifically in business development of electronic products in a reseller channel business model with a special interest in POS systems and/or Digital Signage (Asset).
• Experience working within a channel model.
• Knowledge of Co-op and MDF model (Asset).
