The 3820 combines exclusive Adaptus® Imaging Technology 5.0 with Bluetooth wireless connectivity to provide class-leading performance and durability for retail and commercial cordless bar code reading. In applications where operators must move about to read bar codes, cables become a limiting factor. They cause ineffi ciencies or safety and ergonomic concerns. Cable length often limits working range, resulting in an object being moved to the reader because the reader can’t be taken to the object.

Unlike other scanners with multiple on-board interfaces, the MS7580 has four dedicated memory banks—each one capable of storing full configuration settings for RS232, keyboard wedge, USB and 46xx RS485 interfaces.
Automatic cable detection and configuration simplifies migration to a new interface by eliminating the need to scan programming bar codes. Three additional patented technologies augment the MS7580’s unmatched feature set: Shielded LEDs minimize the intense flashing common among other area imagers.
