Free Demand Generation
As a member of the BlueStar Canada's HP Advantage Program, you are eligible to benefit from Free Demand Generation via BlueStar's Exclusive FUSION program. FUSION was developed to "wrap around" and enhance your own marketing and business-development programs. Through the use of the FUSION toolset, a business-development campaign can be designed, launched, and managed efficiently. The toolset can be used in an á la carte or combination fashion. Pre-designed toolsets have been developed to enhance the quality and quantity of touches made to prospects about your various initiatives and campaigns. The FUSION program is designed for business-development of hardware, software and service products—either individually or bundled together. Whether your target is a broad stroke across verticals, or a targeted niche, BlueStar's FUSION program has a customizable business-development toolset.
FUSION 2008 Geo-Market Direct Mailers (GMDM)
The main prospecting tool for HP Advantage Partners is the customizable Geo-Market Direct Mail (GMDM) program. The GMDM mail piece is customized by the HP Advantage partners at the FUSION Partners portal. HP Advantage Partners can pick from a variety of GMDM templates designed for specific solutions or campaigns. Within 10 minutes, the HP Advantage Partner can customize the template to reflect their company's core competencies, print out a PDF-file proof, and approve. All GMDM templates include logos and hardware images from the vendors supporting each campaign. After the design step, HP Advantage partners can select the targeted prospects who should receive the GMDM by selecting a vertical market by SIC Code, or by supplying their own contact list. They then select the metro market they sell into from a list of 180 metro markets in the US and 50 metro markets in Canada. BlueStar takes charge of printing and mailing the GMDMs to the target prospects on behalf of each HP Advantage partner. Two days before the GMDMs are mailed out, the contact information for all the prospects is loaded into the HP Advantage partner's prospectreactor.com account.
Telemarketing
The HP Advantage partner can also start its own call-out campaign to the same prospect list at the same time as the mail campaign, or it can contract BlueStar's FUSION telemarketing group to perform the call-out campaign to their prospects at $1.49/prospect. End-user prospects can contact the HP Advantage partner via a Personalized URL (PURL), which includes the contact's full name and takes them to a landing page that contains the HP Advantage partner's contact information, a link to their website, and information about all components of the solution including software, hardware, services and even leasing opportunities. BlueStar hosts a PURL for every prospect who receives a mail piece. As soon as the end-user types the PURL into their browser, an e-mail notification is sent to the HP Advantage partner alerting them to call the prospect that is currently visiting their landing page. This information is also loaded into the HP Advantage partner's prospectreactor account. BlueStar also provides an 800 number for the VAR, which rings directly to the HP Advantage partner's company phone, and prints this on the GMDM. End-user prospects may also call this number to contact the HP Advantage partner. These special numbers allow BlueStar to record all calls from the GMDM. Calls are recorded since many prospects call after business hours or do not leave messages when prompted to by automatic phone answering systems. In addition, most prospects call from their cell phones, not their places of business. Any new contact information for the prospect—including the cell number—is passed on to the HP Advantage partner via their prospectreactor.com account.
FUSION 2008 Customized Solution Sales Sheets
Customized Solution Sales Sheets are a part of the FUSION toolset that allow HP Advantage partners to customize 1-page sales sheets abouthardware, software and/or services that highlight theapplications they resell. The intention is to provide HP Advantage partners witha fast and easy way to design a customized, professional-looking 1-page document that can be easily distributed to theircustomers and prospects. The sheets are designed with extra white space for the HP Advantage partner toadd its logo and company text. HP Advantage partners can review all Solution Sales Sheets pertinent to thesolutions they resell in real-time online. This includes both "core" and "snap-on" bundles that match up with theirapplications. Once the HP Advantage partner approves a final draft of the SalesSheet, they can have it sent to them in PDF format via e-mail. The HP Advantage partner can then e-mail, mail, or fax the Sales Sheets to theircustomers and prospects. After BlueStar receives the sheets from the Vendors and ISVs, they are put into a template form, and loaded into the FUSION Partners' Portal. The new template will reside inall areas of the portal where the content of the Sales Sheet ispart of the total solution. For example, the Solution SalesSheet on the Debit/Credit Transaction Bundle would appearin all portions of the Portals where POS is highlighted. This would include both the Retail and Hospitality Partners Portals.
HP Advantage partners can use the Solution Sales Sheets to "brand themselves" by:
- Advertising promotion pricing for hardware, software and/or service bundles.
- Educating their customers about the features and functionality of hardware, software and/or service offerings.
- Recruiting end-users to their FUSION-sponsored Webinars, seminars, or Lunch & Learns.
- Explaining the ROI of the solutions they sell with the use of printed ROI configurators.
