Patient Admission and Identification

Admissions provides the first stop for tracking and processing patients, with the use of a printed bar code patient identification wristband. Once the patient's information has been gathered, a bar coded identification wristband and corresponding bar code
labels for patient files are printed.

This allows positive dentification to be made once they are scanned for blood specimens, test orders, x-rays, billing and an array of other hospital procedures and eliminates costly errors.
