Bedside Blood Collection and Identification

Automating specimen identification with bar coding eliminates the need for relabeling. A fully integrated system will allow the phlebotomist to have labels ready for bedside application. They can then scan a patient id wristband and their id badge at bedside to verify, identify and test order match.

Blood Bank - For patients who are autologous donors, matching a permanent ID number on the blood bag to the patient's bar coded wristbands, provides fail-safe matching of patient and blood during surgery.
