The reason behind the SRM - Sales recording module

The government of Quebec is requiring precise information from the Restaurant sector. The SRM will assist restaurant owners by helping them obtain these specific reports. Consequently, moneys lost due to tax evasion will be reduced.

Upgrading the clients equipment and SRM module at the same time

Adapting to the new governmental regulations is a burden to restaurant owners everywhere. However, with the new SRM modules brings new changes; changes in business procedures and changes in state of the art POS or ECR hardware. In addition, restaurant owners require POS and ECR refreshing every couple of years. Why not do it now?

The hardware has many advantageous features: inventory counts, sales reports. These same reports can now be generated directly from the SRM, POS or ECR. Fortunately the government has found a solution to assist restaurant owners. Eventually the restaurant sector will adapt and realize how productive they can be with the SRM. This governmental project was inevitable and has been long overdue. It is now time to utilize these new tools.

Until November 1st 2011, the government of Quebec will be giving out subsidies regarding SRM related purchases. For subsidy related information, click here.
